How to Update DNS Servers on Network Solutions
- 1). Log in to your Network Solutions account.
- 2). Click "Account Manager."
- 3). Click the "My Domain Names" option.
- 4). Look through the list of domains you have registered through Network Solutions. Select the specific domain that needs its DNS settings changed, and click "Manage."
- 5). Choose "Change Where Domain Points" and "Domain Name Server (DNS)."
- 6). Input your server's DNS settings in the first two name server fields on this page. In most cases, you only need to enter in the two name servers. You can add more name servers by clicking "Add More Name Servers" for each additional server you wish to include. Click "Continue." Click "Apply Changes." Your DNS settings are updated for this domain. Your Web hosting company provides you with the proper DNS settings for your web server. This information should be available with the documentation you received from the Web hosting company when you initially set up the domain.
