- 1). Log onto the computer with an account that has administrator privileges. If your account does not have them currently, you must be given privileges by someone who is already an administrator.
- 2). Click on the "Start" button and select the "Run" command.
- 3). Type the phrase "control userpasswords2" in the "Run" box and press "Enter."
- 4). Find the user account you want to override. On that account, click in the box next to the text "User must enter a username and password" until the check mark disappears. This overrides the need to enter a password on that account.
- 5). Press "OK" and restart the computer.
