- 1). Install the Korg Wavestation, and at the installation setup menu, select for the program to install a VST plugin. It does not matter where on the computer it is installed to, but take note of the file path.
- 2). Download and install Reaper. All the default installation options may be used. Once the installation is done, open Reaper. On the top menus across the screen, select the "Track" menu and choose "Insert Virtual Instrument On New Track."
- 3). The plugin window will appear. Click "File" in the window and "Plugin Settings." Select "VST Settings" and in the VST directory, add the folder containing the Korg Wavestation. Apply all the changes, and back at the VST selection window, press F5.
- 4). Choose to insert the Korg on the track. Back in the main project view, press Alt+B on the keyboard to bring up the program's virtual keyboard. The Korg can now be played with a computer keyboard.
