How to Reprogram a Chevy Remote
- 1). Close all of the doors on the vehicle. If one door is open or ajar, this procedure will not work.
- 2). Stand within 10 feet of the vehicle so that the remote is within range.
- 3). Press and hold both the "Lock" and "Unlock" buttons on the remote.
- 4). Wait for the door locks to cycle. This may take as long as 30 seconds to complete. The locks will lock then unlock.
- 5). Release the buttons and test the remote. If this procedure does not work, check the owner's manual for the reprogramming procedure as some Chevrolet models may have different programming procedures.
