How to Adjust 1999 Suburban Headlights

- 1). Park your Suburban so that the headlights are exactly 25 feet from a closed garage door. Make sure the headlights are facing the garage door.
- 2). Turn the Suburban's headlights on.
- 3). Turn the adjustment screw on the inside edge of the headlight (on the top of the headlight housing) with a screwdriver so that the headlights overlap each other by 50 percent. This screw adjusts the headlights horizontally.
- 4). Turn the adjustment screw in the middle of the headlight housing (on the top of the housing) so that the headlight beams are aimed at the bottom of the garage door, centered right at the point where the door meets the ground. This middle screw controls the vertical adjustment of the headlights.
