How to Connect a Portable GPS in an Audi
- 1). Connect the GPS unit to the windshield. Using the hardware included, use the suction-cup mount and place it on the windshield. Mount the GPS unit level with your instrument panel or higher for optimal viewing.
- 2). Connect the GPS to a 12-volt power source using the included power cord, connected from the GPS to the cigarette lighter.
- 3). Make sure everything is functioning properly. Turn on the GPS using the power button and allow time for it to connect with satellites. Your location is now displayed on the main screen.
