How to Install a CRX Fuel Pump Relay
- 1). Open the driver's side door and locate the fuse panel on the far left corner of the dashboard. It's behind a panel near where your knee would rest.
- 2). Locate the main relay. This is the large box at the back portion of the fuse block that controls the fuel pump relay as well as other components.
- 3). Pull out the main relay using your hands. The relay should have a little resistance to it, but don't try to force the issue by using tools. Using your hands should be sufficient. Note the orientation of the relay, as you'll be putting in a replacement next.
- 4). Install the replacement main relay using your hands. This should press into place firmly, but be sure that it's oriented in the same direction as the original model; otherwise, you could bend a pin and render the panel or the relay useless.
- 5). Close the fuse panel door.
