ThinkPad 380ED Specifications
- The ThinkPad 380ED used a single-core Intel Pentium processor with a speed of 166 MHz. Sixteen MB of memory was included as standard, although this could be expanded to a maximum of 80 MB. These specifications could run the Microsoft Windows 95 operating system, which was included.
- The ThinkPad 380ED came with a choice of hard drive; 2.1 GB, 3 GB or 5.1 GB options were available. The laptop also included a 3.5-inch, 1.44 MB floppy disk drive and a CD-ROM drive with a 8x to 20x speed range.
- The ThinkPad 380ED had an integrated NeoMagic MagicGraph128ZV graphics processor and a 16-bit audio chip. It had a single integrated speaker and a 12.1-inch display with a resolution of 800 by 600 pixels and a contrast ratio of 100 to 1.
- The ThinkPad 380ED had ports and connectors including a mini-DIN connector for connecting an external mouse, headphone and microphone jacks, an infrared port and a 9-pin serial port. The laptop did not have any video input or output jacks.
- The ThinkPad 380ED measured 11.8 inches wide, 9.2 inches deep and 2.4 inches high. It weighed 7 lbs. and had a 12.1-inch display screen.
