How to Identify Your Graphics Card Download
- 1). Click the "Start" button and select "Control Panel."
- 2). Click "Appearance and Personalization" to open the interface customization menu. XP users will need to click "Display" instead.
- 3). Select "Personalization," then "Display Settings." XP users should select the "Settings" tab.
- 4). Copy the name of your graphics card from the "Display" drop-down. You can use this information to locate the most current drivers for your video card.
- 1). Click the "Apple" menu in the upper left-hand corner of your screen and select "About this Mac."
- 2). Select "MoreInfo" and click "System Profiler." This will launch a new window filled with information about your computer.
- 3). Expand the "Hardware" section by clicking on the little plus sign next to it. You can find this section in the left-hand navigation pane.
- 4). Click "Graphics/Displays" to load information about your currently installed video card. You should be able to copy the name of your video card directly from this window and search for an update at the manufacturer's site.
