How to Copy a Boot Disk to a Hard Drive
- 1). Insert the bootable floppy disk or CD into the computer's floppy drive or CD-ROM drive.
- 2). Click "Start," then click "Computer" to open Windows Explorer.
- 3). Right-click on the floppy drive or CD drive icon and click "Copy."
- 4). Double-click on the icon of a partition on the hard drive to open it. Browse to the location where you want to copy the boot disk.
- 5). Right-click a vacant area and then click "Paste" to copy the contents of the boot disk to the hard drive.
