Indulge yourself with this Chocolate Martini rimmed with cocoa and garnished with a chocolate candy. It's a perfect dessert drink to serve during a dinner party or for those days when you have a little sweet tooth.

Personally, I prefer to use a chocolate liqueur instead of one of the pre-mixed options that are available, but if you're really fond of Chocolate Martinis or working in a bar where they're popular, the mix is convenient and tastes pretty good.

You can use either white or dark creme de cacao, which will not produce a creamy cocktail in this recipe. There are many other chocolate liqueurs that will work as well, and those will vary in creaminess. Those from Godiva are very creamy and are a great alternative for this recipe.

The other thing you may want to try in any chocolate martini recipe is to switch out the clear vodka for a flavored vodka. Vanilla vodka is almost always a great choice. If you want to add chocolate, there are chocolate-flavored vodkas. Also, try a whipped cream vodka or one of the other dessert vodkas.

As you can see, there are many variables to creating a Chocolate Martini and that is why there are so many recipes with very few of them in complete agreement. The key is to find one that you enjoy or just go ahead and explore all of them, there is nothing wrong with that.
