How to Boot and Restore a Dell Inspiron 6000 to Factory Default

- 1). Restart your Dell computer. Right after you see the Dell logo appear on the screen, tap the F8 key repeatedly until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears.
- 2). Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to select "Repair Your Computer," then press the "Enter" key.
- 3). Click "Next" and click on the main Administrator account on your Dell. Enter your password if you have one.
- 4). Highlight and click "Dell Factory Image Recovery and DataSafe Options." Follow the steps on the screen to restore your computer back to its factory defaults. This choice will erase all your data and installed programs.
