How to See How Wheels Look on a Car
- 1). Find some wheels you would like to run on your vehicle online. There are literally thousands of different wheels for thousands of different applications, so good sites to look at are ones like tires.com and bigotires.com --- large wheel companies that have lots of different selections for you to look at.
- 2). Print out images of the wheels you like--two of each kind.
- 3). Cut out the wheel pictures with scissors and place them to the side.
- 4). Take a picture of your vehicle from the side. You want a good profile shot, something which you'll be able to place your cut-out wheels onto.
- 5). Upload the picture of your vehicle to your computer and print out several copies. You want to be able to place one set of wheels on one picture, so you need to have the same number of car pics and kinds of wheels you're comparing.
- 6). Tape the wheels onto your printed-out car images. If the scale is off, use an image editing program like Adobe Photoshop to change the scale, then print them out again. If you're really handy with Photoshop, you can edit the image of your vehicle with the wheels on it without printing anything out.
- 7). Go online and look at various wheel-simulation programs offered by companies such as Discount Tire and Tire Pro program. They don't have every vehicle made, but it's certainly a great starting point.
