- 1). Plug your USB or flash drive into a free USB port on your computer, then launch Norton Ghost 2003.
- 2). Click "Ghost Advanced" in the left-hand tray, then select "Clone."
- 3). Click the "Next" button when the Clone Wizard starts.
- 4). Select "Disk 1"--or the disk number that pertains to the hard drive you wish to clone--under the "Source" section.
- 5). Select "Disk 2"--or, again, the disk number that pertains to the USB or flash drive--in the "Destination" section.
- 6). Click "Next," then click "Cancel" if you receive a screen mentioning IEEE 1394. This screen is not important.
- 7). Click "Next" twice, then click the "Run Now" button. This will start the process of cloning your hard drive to the USB or flash drive. You may need to restart your computer at the end of the process.
