    Cooler Master C6 GT

    • Benchmark Reviews rates this as one of the best coolers on the market. The website reports that the cooler has a total of 55 fins that measure 0.6 mm each. Fins are designed to keep heat away from the CPU. The cooler comes with a splitter cable so that the fans can both connect directly to the motherboard. It also comes with a Molex connector to allow you to power the LED lights that are built into the unit. The cooler fits Intel chips using the socket LGA 1366, 1156 and 775. It also fits AMD sockets AM3, AM2+ and AM2.

    Spire Thermax Eclipse II

    • Frosty Synch rates this the best CPU cooler. The cooler comes with five 8 mm copper pipes to help cool down the CPU. The unit is 155 mm high and weighs 822 grams. It comes with two fans, each 120 mm in diameter, though it can work with just one fan if noise is an issue. The two fans rotate at 2,200 rpm, and the cooler fits the Intel LGA 775, 1156 and 1366 sockets. It also fits AMD sockets 754, 939, 940, AM2 and AM3.

    • Legit Reviews calls this cooler one of the best ever. The site reports that the CPU cooler is extremely quiet in spite of having two fans. The cooler also features six heat pipes that pull heat away from the CPU, and two radiators. Legit Reviews even suggests that this unit is as good as some water-based CPU coolers. The unit's two fans rotate at 1,300 rpm so that they are significantly quieter than the fans on the cooler above. The cooler fits Intel LGA 1366, 1156 and 775 slots and AMD AM2, AM2+ and AM3 slots.
