- 1). Click the "Start" button located in the lower left corner of the Windows 7 PC desktop, and then click the "Search" box. Type "diskmgmt.msc" in the "Search" box and press the "Enter" key. The "Disk Management utility will appear.
- 2). Locate the FATX formatted volume in the list of volumes displayed in the lower half of the "Disk Management" window. Right-click on the FATX formatted volume you wish to mount on an NTFS partition and then click "Change Drive Letter and Paths" in the menu that appears.
- 3). Click the "Add" button. Click "Mount in the following empty NTFS folder." Click the "Browse" button and navigate to the location on the NTFS partition where you wish to mount the FATX volume. Click the "New Folder" button. Type a name for the new folder that appears and press the "Enter" key. Click the "OK" button.
- 4). Click the "OK" button in the "Add Drive Letter or Path" window. Click the "OK" button in the "Change Drive Letter and Paths" window.
