How to Change Your Password Command

    • 1). Click the Windows "Start" button. Type "cmd" into the text box in the menu and press "Enter." This opens your Windows command line.

    • 2). Type "net user" and press "Enter." This shows you all the configured username accounts on the system.

    • 3). Type "net user username password" into the prompt where "username" is one of the users from Step 2 and "password" is the new password. Press "Enter." This changes the password of the selected user. If you type your own username, then your password is changed.
