How to Update an SSID
- 1). Click "Start."
- 2). Click "Control Panel."
- 3). Open "Network and Sharing Center," which will be towards the center of the alphabetized list of utilities in the Control Panel window.
- 4). Click "Manage Wireless Networks."
- 5). Right-click on the current SSID of the network you're trying to update. All of the entries in this window represent a network you have previously connected to. Click "Properties."
- 6). Update the SSID of the network by changing its name in the window on screen. Click "OK" to save changes.
