How to Pair a Bluetooth Earpiece With a Computer
- 1). Put your Bluetooth earpiece into discovery mode by pressing and holding down the power button on your headset for 10 seconds. Place it near your computer.
- 2). Click the icon marked "My Bluetooth Places" on your computer's desktop. If you do not have a Bluetooth places icon, click the "Start" button, followed by "Control Panel" and then "Bluetooth" to enter the Bluetooth menu.
- 3). Select "Find Bluetooth Devices" from the Bluetooth menu. Your computer will then list all of the Bluetooth devices that are powered on near it.
- 4). Right click on the icon for your headset in the list. Select "Pair device."
- 5). Enter the pairing code for your headset when prompted. The pairing code is a small series of numbers printed on a sticker on the back of your headset or on its instruction book.
- 6). Click "OK" at the bottom of the window to complete the pairing process.
