- 1). Go to "Start," click on "All Programs" and select "Control Panel."
- 2). Click on the "Appearance and Personalization" icon.
- 3). Click on the "Change Screen Saver" link, which is located in the "Personalization" pane.
- 4). Click on the "Screen Saver" dropdown menu and select a new screen saver from the list of options.
- 5). Click the "Settings" button and experiment with effects, such as "Pan and Zoom," from the "Visual Effect" dropdown menu. Select a screen saver effect.
- 6). Designate how often you want the pictures to change in your screen saver by clicking and dragging the arrow button in the "Change Picture Every..." section. After you've selected a time frame, click the "OK" button.
- 7). Click the "Preview" button to view the changes in your new screen saver. When you're satisfied with the settings, click the "Apply" button.
