How to Disassemble Cartridges in Samsung ML-1210 Laser Printers
- 1). Open the front access panel of the printer and you will see the end of the rectangular toner cartridge.
- 2). Slide the toner cartridge out of the unit to unplug and remove it. Place the cartridge on a work surface covered with paper towels or disposable cloth.
- 3). Locate the center locking screw at the edge of the top of the cartridge and use your pliers to remove it.
- 4). Use your screwdriver to remove all remaining regular screws on the top of the cartridge. There should be four in total and you can find them at the corners of the cartridge.
- 5). Locate the two locking tabs at the top of the cartridge and use the tip of your screwdriver to push them inward.
- 6). Lift the top cover of the cartridge up and remove it.
- 7). Turn the cartridge itself over to dump any remaining toner on the paper towels or rags. Place the cartridge right side up again.
- 8). Remove the three screws on each end of the cartridge. These screws hold the two end plates in place.
- 9). Remove the end plates to expose the gears.

Remove the two remaining screws from the inside of the cartridge. - 11
Lift the sponge roller out of the cartridge. - 12
Remove the OPC drum (the long metal cylindrical component) from the cartridge to finish disassembling the cartridge.
