How to Create Your Own Favicon.Ico Icon
- 1). Open a web browser and navigate to tools.dynamicdrive.com/favicon.
- 2). Click the "Browse" button located under "Image to create icon from:" to upload the image file that you would like to be your favicon icon.
- 3). Click "Create Icon." You will then see a preview of how your image will look in a browser.
- 4). Click "Download FavIcon."
- 5). Upload you favicon.ico to your site's server. The favicon.ico file must be uploaded in the same folder as your index file.
- 6). Copy and paste "<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/links/?u=/favicon.ico">" into the "Head" section of your site's main index page. Open a browser and you will now see your image next to the web address of your site.
