Using your Computer

• 1). Launch iTunes on your computer and click the country flag in the bottom right corner of the main iTunes store page to select your country. If your country has an iTunes store, click the "App Store" button.
  
  
• 2). Select a free application and click "Free app" to purchase it. Click "Create New Account" in the window that opens. Click "Continue."
  
  
• 3). Read the iTunes Store Terms & Conditions and then click the check box next to "I have read and agree to the iTunes Terms and Conditions." Click "Continue."
  
  
• 4). Enter your email address, and type the password you want to use for the App Store. Create and answer the security question you want to use if you forget your password, and then enter your birthday. Click "Continue."
  
  
• 5). Select "None" as the payment option, and then enter your name and address in the open boxes.
  
  
• 6). Click "Done" on the "Verify your Account" screen. iTunes sends a verification email.
  
  
• 7). Log into your email account and open the email from iTunes. Click the link enclosed in the email to activate your account.
  
  
• 8). Sign into your account. You should see the "Congratulations" screen.
  
  

Using your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

• 1). Turn on your device and tap "App Store" on the home screen to launch the App Store.
  
  
• 2). Select a free application from the App Store and tap the "Free" button. Tap "Create New Account."
  
  
• 3). Tap "Agree" after reading and accepting the ITunes Store Terms & Conditions.
  
  
• 4). Select your country and tap "Done." Enter your email address and security question, and then type your password. Tap "Next."
  
  
• 5). Select "None" as your payment option, and then enter your email, address and phone number in the open fields. Tap "Next."
  
  
• 6). Tap "Done" to verify your account. ITunes sends a verification email.
  
  
• 7). Log into your email account and open the email from iTunes. Click the link enclosed in the email to activate your account.
  
  
• 8). Tap "Sign In." Tap "Done" when you see the "Congratulations" screen.
