- 1). Right-click on an empty spot on your desktop and select "Properties" from the menu that appears.
- 2). Click on the "Settings" tab.
- 3). Click the button labeled "Identify" so that you can see which monitor corresponds to each number in the settings window. Once you find out what number each monitor corresponds to, drag the small monitor icons in the settings window to arrange them in a way that you would prefer.
- 4). Select the monitor you would like the taskbar to appear in and click the check box labeled "Use this device as the primary monitor."
- 5). Select your other monitors on the settings window and click the check box labeled "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" for each monitor you would like to display an extension of your desktop on.
- 6). Click "OK" to exit the display properties window.
