How to Install a '55 Chevy Headliner

    • 1). Unscrew and set aside the bolts that line the center and corner of the Chevy headliner, using a wrench. Feed the loosened Chevy headliner material through one of the car's back doors.

    • 2). Sand any remaining buildup of adhesive glue left on the now-exposed Chevy roof.

    • 3). Spread a thick coat of adhesive glue all over one side of the replacement Chevy headliner. Push the glued side of the Chevy headliner onto the exposed roof until it sticks without you needing to hold it up.

    • 4). Attach the bolts that you removed previously with the same wrench. Cut all overlapping bits that cover the windows with scissors.
