How to Hook up a Borg Warner Oxygen Sensor Afs-74

    • 1). Go under the passenger side of the car and follow your exhaust manifold -- the large pipe that connects to your exhaust pipe -- until you locate the old oxygen sensor. It will look like a large golden peg with wires protruding from the tip.

    • 2). Disconnect the wires from your vehicle's electrical harness, then use your ratchet and socket to loosen and remove the sensor from the manifold.

    • 3). Screw the new sensor in right where you pulled the old sensor out. Hand-tighten it to start with, then tighten it further with the ratchet and socket.

    • 4). Connect the wiring back to the vehicle's wiring harness.
