How to Replace Headlight Bulbs on a Dodge Dakota
- 1). Open the hood of the vehicle and locate the back of the headlight.
- 2). Grip the bulb and twist counterclockwise. The bulb harness will back out of the slot.
- 3). Twist the bulb counterclockwise till it comes out of the harness.
- 4). Inspect the inner part of the harness where the bulb connects to ensure it is clean of debris.
- 5). Insert the new bulb and make sure it is secure in its harness.
- 6). Tighten the harness back into the slot, ensuring it is secure and tight.
- 7). Close the hood of the truck and test the lights to make sure they work.
