How to Find Hex Color Codes
- 1). Open a Web browser and navigate to an HTML color code reference website such as All Profit - All Free. (See Resources.) There will be a palette of colors to choose from.
- 2). Click on the color you wish to know the hex color code for.
- 3). Read the six-digit hexadecimal code listed under "HTML Code" to discover the hex color code for the selected color. This hexadecimal code can be used in your own HTML documents to color a page element.
