How to Install an Internal High-Def Audio Driver
- 1). Launch your preferred web browser.
- 2). Navigate to the download location for your needed sound driver file. If you are unsure where to find your driver, see links to popular driver databases in the Resources section.
- 3). Locate the download link for your audio driver. If you are unsure which driver you need, consult your computer's hardware specifications for the name of your audio hardware.
- 4). Download the audio-driver installer file onto your hard drive.
- 5). Launch the installer file once the download has finished. Follow the directions as they appear on your screen to start the automated installation process. You will need to restart your computer once the installer is finished.
