How to Change System Font

    • 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Run." Type "regedit" into the text box displayed and press the "Enter" key. This opens the Windows system registry editor.

    • 2). Navigate to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\GRE_Initialize" directory in the registry.

    • 3). Right-click the "GRE_Initialize" key and select "Modify." In the property window that opens, enter a font file name and click the "OK" button.

    • 4). Reboot the computer. Registry value changes do not take effect until you reboot. Once the machine has booted, you will see the changes to the font in the login window.
