Antec 200 Vs. 900

    Cooling System

    • Each Antec 200 has a cooling system that consists of two TwoCool fans: a 140-millimeter (mm) fan positioned at the top and a 120-mm fan located at the rear. The Antec 900 has four TriCool fans, each with a three-speed switch control. Two 200-mm fans are located at the top and rear, and two 120-mm fans with blue light-emitting diodes are positioned in the front.

    Drive Bays

    • The Antec 200 supports up to 10 drive bays for data storage: three external 5.25-inch bays, plus one front-loaded hard disk drive caddy with Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) interface; and six internal 3.5-inch drive bays. The Antec 900 leaves out the SATA drive bay to offer the following choices: three external 5.25-inch and six internal 3.5-inch bays or six external 5.25-inch and three internal 3.5-inch bays.

    Ports

    • Each Antec 200 and Antec 900 has two USB 2.0 ports, as well as Audio Codec '97-compliant microphone/line-in and headphone/line-out jacks for high-definition audio. Antec adds a FireWire connector for wired networking and communication. Additionally, each case has seven expansion slots able to accommodate video/graphics card sizes of up to 11.5 inches or 292 mm.

    Physical Dimensions and Weight

    • The Antec 900 is larger and heavier than the Antec 200, with a height of 19.4 inches (493 mm); width of 8.1 inches (206 mm); depth of 18.4 inches (467 mm); and a net weight of 18.5 lbs. (8.4 kilograms). The Antec 200 is 17.7 inches or 450 mm high; 7.9 inches or 200 mm wide; 18.5 inches or 470 mm deep; and weighs 13.9 lbs. or 6.3 kg.
