How to Protect a Folder in Windows
- 1). Right-click the file you want to protect.
- 2). Select "Properties" from the right-click menu.
- 3). Click the "Security" tab in the properties menu.
- 4). Click the "Advanced" button on the bottom of the security window.
- 5). Click the "Owner" tab.
- 6). Click the "Edit" button on the bottom of the owner window.
- 7). Click the name of the user to whom you want to give access.
- 8). Click "OK."
