Breaking-in Time Frame

• The breaking-in time frame will vary depending on what muffler you have, but the average time is usually around three days. MagnaFlow mufflers are known to drone a bit between 2,000 to 3,000 rpm. However this depends on the pressure in the exhaust system, and after you wear it in, it should quiet down. The deeper the note it produces depends on how high you are on the RPM range: The higher you go, the deeper it gets.
