How to Shut Down a Remote Computer From the Command Line

    • 1). Log in to the remote computer through the method you usually use.

    • 2). Click on the "Start" button on the remote computer and select "All Programs."

    • 3). Click on "Accessories" and open the command line program by clicking on the "Command Prompt" application.

    • 4). Type "shutdown" into the Command Prompt and press the "Enter" to shut down the remote computer.
