Option One

• 1). Press "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "Escape" to open the "Task Manager."
  
  
• 2). Click on the "Processes" tab and then click on "Show Processes From All Users."
  
  
• 3). Right-click on "Update.exe" (located under "Image Name"), then select "End Process."
  
  
• 4). Close the "Windows Task Manager" and restart your computer.
  
  

Option Two

• 1). Click on the "Windows Start Menu" and type "cmd" into the "Search Programs and Files" box. Press "Enter." The "Command Prompt" opens.
  
  
• 2). Type "taskkill /update.exe" into the "Command Prompt."
  
  
• 3). Press "Enter" and then click "Yes" to confirm the command.
  
  
• 4). Close the "Command Prompt" and restart your computer.
