How to Uninstall Ad Blocker Installed in Browers
- 1). Open the Internet browser.
- 2). Click on "Tools" in the menu bar. Select "Add-ons" in Firefox 3 or "Manage Add-ons" then "InPrivate Filtering" in Internet Explorer 8.
- 3). Find the name of the ad-blocker software or rule from the list. Highlight the ad-blocking program or rule and click "Uninstall" in Firefox or "Delete" in Internet Explorer 8.
- 4). Close the dialog box and restart the browser for the change to take effect.
- 1). Click "Start," then select "Control Panel."
- 2). Double-click on "Add or Remove Programs" in Windows XP. Computers using Vista or Windows 7 should select "Uninstall a Program."
- 3). Find the name of the ad-blocking software in the list that generates. Click on the program to highlight it.
- 4). Click the "Uninstall" button to the right of the program name. The program will uninstall. Follow any directions if an uninstall wizard appears.
- 5). Restart the computer when the uninstall is complete. The ad-block software will be removed and ads will appear when browsing the Internet.
