How to Create PSAs for iPods
- 1). Develop a script for your public service announcement.
- 2). Open any recording program on your computer. There are multiple programs available, many of which come as the default with your operating system (for example: Windows Media Player, which comes with Windows machines).
- 3). Plug-in your microphone into the microphone jack into your computer.
- 4). Click the "Record" button. Read your public service announcement. Try to read it in a quiet place to minimize background noise. When you are done recording, click the "Record" button again. Choose to save the file as an .MP3.
- 5). Use this .MP3 file on any iPod to hear the playback of your PSA.
