How to Use Download Music on the iPod Touch
- 1). Tap the settings icon, which resembles three gears, on your iPod touch's home screen. Tap "Wi-Fi."
- 2). Tap "Turn Wi-Fi on or off" and turn Wi-Fi on. Tap "Join a Wi-Fi network." Tap the name of a nearby Wi-Fi network and enter the password if a password is required. Tap "Join." Tap "Back" to return to the settings menu.
- 3). Tap "Store." If you already have an Apple ID, tap "Sign In" and enter your ID and password. Tap "Create New Account" if you do not already have an account. Tap "United States," read the terms and conditions, tap "Agree," and tap "Agree" again. Enter your email address and create and verify a password for your account. Tap "Next." Enter the information for the credit card that you will use to pay for your purchases. Tap "Next" and then tap "Done." Check your email on your iPod touch or your computer. Open Apple's verification email and select "Verify Now." Enter your email address and the password your created, and select "Verify Address" to verify your account.
- 4). Press the Home and tap the iTunes icon, which resembles a musical note in a circle, on the home screen. Tap the "Search" tab, then tap the search field, and type the name of the artist, album or song you are looking for using the on-screen keyboard.
- 5). Tap the name of an artist, song or album for more information. Tap the price and then tap "Buy" to purchase a song or album. Your iPod will automatically download the song or album and add it to your music library.
