How to Switch the Computer You Use to Load Your iPod
- 1). Launch iTunes. Click on "Tools," then click "Authorize Account." Enter your iTunes username and password, then click "OK."
- 2). Connect your iPod to the computer you want the iPod to load to via the USB cable. The computer will then recognize the iPod and install the software for the iPod.
- 3). Sync the iPod with iTunes. iTunes will then attempt to sync with the iPod. When it starts the sync, iTunes will open up a display asking if you want to erase the files on your iPod and sync the iPod with that computer instead.
- 4). Confirm you want to sync with this computer. iTunes will then delete the files in your iPod and replace them with the files on that computer.
