How to Run Check Disk on an HP Laptop
- 1). Close any open programs.
- 2). Click "Start" and select "(My) Computer."
- 3). Right-click the drive on which you want to run the check disk scan and select "Properties."
- 4). Click the "Tools" tab.
- 5). Click "Check Now" in the "Error Checking" section.
- 6). Click both check boxes in the "Check disk" pop-up window and select "Start." The check disk scan will now run.
