How to Move Music From Limewire or My Shared Files to an iPod

    • 1). Open iTunes. Click on the "File" option at the top of iTunes. A box will then drop down.

    • 2). Select "Add Folder to Library" and a window will be opened in iTunes.

    • 3). Locate the "Limewire" or "Shared Files" folder on the computer and click that folder. Then click "Open" at the bottom of the window to add the Limewire/Shared Files music to iTunes. The location of this folder may vary based upon your Limewire or computer settings.

    • 4). Plug the iPod into one of the empty USB ports on the computer. This iPod will then be recognized by the iTunes software and the program will list that iPod under "Devices."

    • 5). Select "Music" underneath "Library" in the column on the left side of iTunes.

    • 6). Click on all of the music in iTunes you wish to move to the iPod and drag that music to the iPod link under "Devices." The music will be moved to the iPod.
