Acer Extensa 5220 Specs
- The Acer Extensa 5220 measured 14.17 inches wide, 10.51 inches deep and 1.61 inches thick. Standard versions of the Extensa 5220 weighed 6.39 lbs. before optional upgrades. A six-cell, 4000 mAh lithium-ion battery provided on-board power. Acer offered a larger eight-cell battery as an optional upgrade. Additional identifying features of the Extensa 5220 included an 89-key keyboard and a 2.76- by 1.77-inch integrated touch pad.
- Acer equipped the Extensa 5220 with an Intel Celeron M 540 processor. The processor featured a clock speed of 1.86 GHz, 1 MB of L2 cache and a front-side bus speed of 533 MHz. Base versions of the Extensa 5220 came standard with 512 MB of PC2-5200 RAM, upgradeable to a maximum of 2 GB. For storage, the computer came standard with an 80 GB Western Digital Scorpio hard drive that functioned at 5400 rpm and featured an 8 MB cache. Acer offered hard drives with larger capacities as optional upgrades. Acer also built a four-in-one media card reader into the computer. The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100 controlled video and graphics on the Extensa 5220. The GMA X3100 featured 128MB of RAM.
