How to Get Better Sound From an iPod
- 1). Click the "Start" button on your PC's taskbar, and click "Programs," "Apple" and "iTunes." For Macintosh computers, click the "iTunes" icon.
- 2). Click the song you wish to adjust and click "File" at the top of the menu. Select "Get Info" from the drop-down list. Click the "Options" tab.
- 3). Click and drag the volume adjustment tab on the volume bar to the right to increase the sound of the song during playback. Click "OK" to save the changes.
- 4). Connect the iPod to your computer by plugging the USB cable into the iPod's connector and the computer's USB port.
- 5). Click the iPod tab in the iTunes sidebar and click the "Music" tab in the main window of iTunes. Make sure the "Sync Music" selection is checked to include the recently adjusted song. Click "Apply" to save the changes and sync the song to your iPod.
- 1). Slide your finger on to the iPod's click wheel clockwise until the "Settings" tab is highlighted, and click the center button.
- 2). Highlight the "EQ" tab in the Settings menu, and click the "Center" button.
- 3). Scroll through the list of equalizer settings to adjust the sound to a specific music genre. Highlight the genre of your choice, and click the center button to select it.
