How to Hide Items in the Start Menu of Windows Vista
- 1). Press "Start," then click Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization, then "Taskbar and Start Menu."
- 2). Select the "Start Menu" tab and click "Customize."
- 3). Scroll through the available items for the Start Menu and select "Don't display this item" for any items you want to hide.
- 4). Save your changes and close the Start Menu properties by clicking "OK," then "Apply" and "OK." The items you changed will now be hidden.
