Features of the 10-Series include case hardening for increased durability and strength, as well as long-life seals. The Spicer 10-Series U-joint kit has a mean time to failure of 451,258 fatigue cycles, according to data reported on the Dana Spicer website in 2007. Its B10 rating, or the value where 90 percent of the sampling will remain functional, is 277,728 cycles.
