How to Replace a Dodge RAM Ignition Key Module

    • 1). Slide the key into the ignition key module and turn the ignition to the "II" position.

    • 2). Push the punch pin into the hole underneath the ignition key module (on the underside of the steering column).

    • 3). Pull the ignition key module out of the steering column while applying upward pressure on the punch pin. Then, remove the punch pin.

    • 4). Turn the key on the new ignition key module to the "II" position. Then, slide it into the steering column until it locks into place.
