How to Remove Locking Lugs
- 1). Select the tube from the lug nut removal kit that best fits the locking lug to be removed.
- 2). Fit the tube over the lug nut so that it is securely holding onto the nut.
- 3). Strike the head of the tube with a rubber mallet once to set the tube in place.
- 4). Insert a spanner into the tube and turn the spanner. This will cause the lug nut inside the tube to turn as well.
- 5). Turn the spanner until the tube and lug nut come off.
- 6). Put a punch down the open end of the tube and gently tap the punch until the lug nut comes out of the tube.
