How to Remove Locking Lugs

    • 1). Select the tube from the lug nut removal kit that best fits the locking lug to be removed.

    • 2). Fit the tube over the lug nut so that it is securely holding onto the nut.

    • 3). Strike the head of the tube with a rubber mallet once to set the tube in place.

    • 4). Insert a spanner into the tube and turn the spanner. This will cause the lug nut inside the tube to turn as well.

    • 5). Turn the spanner until the tube and lug nut come off.

    • 6). Put a punch down the open end of the tube and gently tap the punch until the lug nut comes out of the tube.
