How to Wire a Tachometer in an S-10 Pickup
- 1). Use a Phillips screwdriver to uninstall the two screws located under the upper dash bezel around the steering wheel. Pull the bezel off.
- 2). Uninstall the four screws holding the instrument panel in place. Use a flathead screwdriver to slide the instrument panel out towards you.
- 3). Reach behind the instrument panel and grasp the left-most wiring connector. This is the tachometer wiring connector. Connect the connector to the harness on the instrument panel and place the instrument panel back into the S-10.
- 4). Reinstall the instrument panel's screws and reattach the dash bezel.
