How to Remove All Redundant Drivers in Windows XP

- 1). Right-click "My Computer" on the desktop and click "Manage" to launch the Device Manager.
- 2). Scroll down the Device Manager and click the "Plus (+)" icon next to the category of the driver you want to uninstall is located. For example, click the "+" symbol next to "Sound, video and game controllers" if you want to uninstall a sound driver. Once you select the driver category, you should see a list of the installed drivers in that category.
- 3). Right-click the driver you want to uninstall and click "Uninstall." When prompted, confirm your selection. Do this for each driver you want to uninstall.
- 4). Close the Device Manager. Restart your computer.
