Powermax Installation
- 1). Shut down all of the applications on your computer. Open a browser and visit the Maxtor Powermax download page (see Resources).
- 2). Click the download link in the middle of the page. Click the "Save" button when it appears. The EXE file will download to your system.
- 3). Double-click the EXE file that downloaded to your system. Click the "Run" button. This will cause the application to install on your system. During the prompts that appear, agree to the user license and designate where you want the software to reside on you computer.
- 4). Restart your computer when the installation has completed.
